Currently, driven by the popularization of high-end finished residential buildings and the increasing penetration rate of customized furniture, the drawer handle industry maintains a steady growth trend. Data shows that the market size of China's zinc alloy drawer handle industry increased from 7.83 billion yuan to 10.65 billion yuan between 2021 and 2025, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.1%. Zinc alloy remains the dominant  material in the metal handle segment with a 67.4% market share. The industrial cluster effect is significant, with the combined output of three provinces—Foshan (Guangdong), Ningbo (Zhejiang), and Kunshan (Jiangsu)—accounting for 68.9% of the national total. Leading enterprises have increased the yield rate to over 98.5% through automation upgrades.
Technological innovation has become the core competitiveness of the industry. The transformation towards green manufacturing is accelerating: over 92% of large-scale enterprises have obtained ISO 14001 certification, the proportion of recycled zinc usage has risen to 58%, and the penetration rate of PVD zero-emission surface treatment process has rapidly increased to 13.9%.

Simultaneously, intelligent upgrading is advancing: 43.6% of large-scale enterprises have deployed intelligent units, and smart handles integrated with induction and silent buffer functions have become a new growth driver. Their market penetration rate reached 18% in 2024 and is expected to exceed 25% in 2025.

The consumption and channel structure is continuously restructuring. On the cons
umption side, there is a trend towards high quality and personalization: minimalist and light luxury style products together account for over 60% of the market, and the demand for mixed metal styles has increased by 80% in three years. On the channel side, bulk purchases by whole-house furniture account for 38.7% of the mid-to-high-end market, and interest e-commerce promotes the conversion of high-priced products.

The export market is expanding steadily, with total export volume reaching 890 million US dollars in 2025, but enterprises need to cope with international environmental compliance pressures such as REACH and RoHS. In the future, the industry will move towards high value-added and low-carbon development, and design-driven development and full-chain collaboration will become the key to enterprise competition.
